ANUGA 2015 will involve the participation of 50 Malaysian exhibitors as Malaysia seeks to strengthen its presence in global markets.
Among others, the exhibitors will feature frozen food items, confectioneries, sauces and pastes, beverages, and food ingredients.
Malaysia’s food-processing sector accounts for 10 per cent of its manufacturing output and exports to over 200 countries worldwide. The value of Malaysia’s food exports exceeded € 3.5 billion in 2014.
Malaysian companies have extensive experience in supporting major multinational companies involved in the production of food products in Malaysia. These include Nestle, Ajinomoto, Campbell, Cargill, Kerry Ingredients, Yakult and Coca Cola.
Malaysia’s participation is managed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). According to MATRADE, potential buyers interested in visiting the Malaysian exhibitors will receive free tickets for the exhibiton (terms and conditions apply).
